Amid huge buzz, the film went on to score round Rs 6.60 cr in 1st week, followed by Rs 4.70 cr in 2nd week, according to WB Box Office's twitter page. In two weeks, the total nett collection is reported to be at Rs 11.30 cr.

Raj Chakrabarty-directed 'Shontaan', starring Mithun Chakraborty, Anashua Majumdar Ritwick Chakraborty and Subhashree Ganguly in the lead, opened to a heartwarming response from audiences and critics alike. Despite the positive word-of-mouth, the film is getting overshadowed by Dev's action-thriller.
As per West Bengal Box Office updates, Shontaan managed to rake in around Rs 1.45 cr in its 1st week. The film witnessed a sight jump in numbers in 2nd week and earned Rs 1.72 cr, taking the total estimated nett collection to Rs 3.75 cr in 14 days.

After the 2nd week, Dev's film is leading the clash over the Subhashree starrer by a solid margin of Rs 7-8 cr.
