Killbill Society (Bengali) Box Office Collection Day 2: The hit director-actor jodi Srijit Mukherji and Parambrata Chattopadhyay are back on big screens with their highly-anticipated Bangla film 'Killbill Society', a much-awaited sequel to their 2012 blockbuster. While Koel Mallick had played the female lead in the first part, the makers brought Koushani Mukherjee as the leading of the sequel. From songs to teaser, trailer and videos, Killbill Society created a massive buzz and sparked huge excitement among the audience ahead of its release. Amidst strong pre-release buzz, the Bengali-language social-drama hit cinemas on April 11, 2025.

Killbill Society Creates THIS Record On Opening Day

Directed by Srijit Mukherji and bankrolled by SVF, Killbill Society stars Parambrata Chattopadhyay (Parambrata Chatterjee) as 'Mrityunjoy Kar' and Koushani Mukherjee as 'Poorna Aich' in the lead along with Sandipta Sen, Tulika Basu, Biswanath Basu and Anindya Chatterjee among others in important roles.

Matching up to the hype, Killbill Society opened to a positive response from fans and critics alike. Despite limited screenings due to other big Bollywood releases, the Bangla sequel managed to score around Rs 12 lakhs on its first day of release, becoming the biggest opening Bengali film of 2025.

Due to the positive word-of-mouth, Killbill Society witnessed a whopping nearly 50% hike in numbers on its first Saturday (yesterday, April 12). According to the Sacnilk update, Srijit-Parambrata's film added around Rs 23 lakhs yesterday, taking the estimated total nett collection to Rs 35 lakhs in 2 days.

The gross India collection of the film is reportedly to be at Rs 39 lakhs. The sequel is now trending on BookMyShow (BMS) with 9.58k tickets being booked on the app in the last 24 hrs.

Killbill Society OTT Streaming Platform Updates

Mounted on a reported budget of Rs 4 cr allegedly, Killbill Society is set to record huge hike hike on its extended first weekend, benefitting from the Poila Baishakh (Bengali New year) holiday.

Since the film is produced by SVF, Killbill Society will have its OTT premiere on Hoichoi after its theatrical run. However, the OTT release date is yet to be determined.
