Amidst a strong pre-release buzz, Killbill Society, starring Parambrata Chatterjee as 'Mityunjoy Kar' and Koushani Mukherjee as 'Poorna Aich' alongside Tulika Basu, Biswanath Basu, Sandipta Sen and Anindya Chatterjee among others, opened to a whopping collection of Rs 12 lakhs, becoming the biggest-opener of any Bangla film in 2025 as of now. Due to the strong word-of-mouth, the film went on to see an impressive hike in numbers on the opening weekend. Despite dip in weekdays, Killbill Society recorded its highest single day on the day of Poila Baisakh and earned around Rs 35 lakhs at the box office on its day 5.

However, the film witnessed a HUGE dip in its earning yesterday (day 6, April 16). According to Sacnilk, Killbill Society, a sequel to Srijit-Parambrata's 2012 blockbuster 'Hemlock Society', managed to add Rs 9 lakhs only, taking the overall nett collection to Rs 1.29 cr in 6 days. The overall gross numbers stand at Rs 1.44 cr approx.

According to a tweet published by West Bengal Box Office, the sequel has earned around Rs 1.32 cr in 6 days at the box office.

Killbill Society is all set to complete its first of theatrical run today (Thursday, April 17). Given the current buzz, the film is likely to maintain its slow growth today s well since it's a working day. However, a boost in numbers is anticipated tomorrow (Friday, April 17) since it's a holiday for Good Friday.

It is being expected that Killbill Society will add somewhere around Rs 8-10 lakhs today, on its 7th day. Of the prediction turns out to be right, the film might end up earning below Rs 1.5 cr (around Rs 1.35-1.40, given the Sacnilk data) by the end of its first week in cinemas.

Ahead of its release, Killbill Society director Srijit Mukherji had revealed that Angelina Jolie's real-life suicide attempt case was the inspiration behind the sequel.
