Maa Box Office Collection Day 4 Prediction: Kajol's latest film Maa has hit the theaters, emerging as one of the year's most awaited releases for multiple reasons. Directed by Vishal Furia, this mythological horror drama delves into the tale of Goddess Kali and a demon named Rakhtbeej. Kajol plays the titular role, along with Ronit Roy, Indraneil Sengupta and Kherin Sharma in the lead. While Ronit plays the role of lead antagonist, Maa marks his second collaboration with Kajol after three decades.
Following the success of Shaitaan, starring Ajay Devgn and R. Madhavan, Maa generated significant hype with its gripping trailer and posters. However, despite the anticipation, the film received mixed reactions from audiences. Many viewers felt it lacked emotional depth, resulting in a sluggish box office performance. Unfortunately, Maa couldn't even cross the double-digit mark in its opening weekend. And now, speculations are rife about whether it will cross the Monday test.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Maa made a collection of Rs 7 crores on day 3 (first Sunday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 17.65 crores

While Maa is expected to see a dip in numbers on day 4 given it's a Monday - a working day, as per a tweet shared by Always Bollywood, Maa is having a good hold on first Monday. While Maa is inching close to Rs 25 crores, it will be interesting to see if this Kajol starrer will pass the Monday test with fly colours
Meanwhile, talking about Maa, Kajol told Khaleej Times, "I'm super proud, super excited. We've worked very hard on this film. And Maa - that word - it's universal. Across every language, every culture, the feeling is the same: a mother's instinct to protect her child, no matter what". In another interview, Maa is based on one of her favourite stories the tale of Kali Ma and Raktabija. "Somewhere we felt like we were doing the right thing. We felt like we were being guided on a path, being pushed in a direction we wanted to go in," she told Zoom.
