Maa Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 3: Kajol's latest film Maa has been generating significant buzz ever since it was announced as one of the year's most anticipated releases. Directed by Vishal Furia, this mythological horror drama explores the story of Goddess Kali and a demon named Rakhtbeej. Kajol takes on the lead role, with Ronit Roy, Indraneil Sengupta, and Kherin Sharma also starring prominently. To note, Ronit Roy portrays the main antagonist in this Kajol starrer and his performance has got the tongues wagging.
Interestingly, Maa marks Ronit's second collaboration with Kajol after nearly 30 years. They were last seen together in 1995 release Hulchul. Despite the excitement surrounding its release, audience reactions have been mixed. However, Maa seems to be winning hearts across the world and has been creating waves at the worldwide box office.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Maa saw a hike in numbers on day 3 (first Sunday) in the overseas market. It is reported that the mythological horror drama minted Rs 1.4 crores on day 3 which took the total overseas collection to Rs 3.5 crores

On the other hand, the total worldwide box office collection of Maa stands at Rs 24.5 crores and it is evident that the movie is shining bright worldwide
Meanwhile, talking about Maa, Kajol told Khaleej Times, "I'm super proud, super excited. We've worked very hard on this film. And Maa - that word - it's universal. Across every language, every culture, the feeling is the same: a mother's instinct to protect her child, no matter what". In another interview, Maa is based on one of her favourite stories the tale of Kali Ma and Raktabija. "Somewhere we felt like we were doing the right thing. We felt like we were being guided on a path, being pushed in a direction we wanted to go in," she told Zoom.
