Maalik Box Office Collection Day 2: Rajkummar Rao, who recently appeared in Bhool Chuk Maaf, is making headlines again. His latest film, Maalik, has been generating excitement since its announcement as it presents Rajkummar in a never seen before avatar which has got everyone excited. Directed by Pulkit and produced by Kumar Taurani and Jay Shewakramani, this action thriller stars Rajkummar Rao in the lead role alongside Manushi Chhillar. Maalik saw a decent start at the box office on the opening day. According to a report published in Sacnilk, the movie made a collection of Rs 3.35 crores on day 1 (first Friday)

In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat, film business expert revealed that Maalik is expected to see a hike in numbers today (day 2/ first Saturday). The movie is expected to mint Rs 5.5 crores at the box office on the second day of release. It will be interesting to see if Maalik will touch Rs 10cr mark on day 2.

Meanwhile, Maalik has been facing consistent comparisons with Ranbir Kapoor's Animal and Allu Arjun's Pushpa. However, in his conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Rajkummar had set the record straight and stated, "Every story has its own soul. We're not trying to replicate anyone. We're telling a story that's raw, real, and rooted in its own world".
