Due to the buzz, Maalik recorded a 40% boost in numbers on Saturday and added Rs 5.25 cr yesterday, taking the total net earnings to Rs 9 cr in 2 days, as per the same trade tracking site.

Co-starring Vikrant Massey, the movie is adapted from Ruskin Bond's popular short story 'The Eyes Have It'. Amidst the underwhelming buzz, the movie kickstarted its theatrical journey on a disastrous note. With an opening day collection of Rs 30 lakhs, as per Sacnilk, the movie raked in around Rs 49 lakhs on Saturday (yesterday) and took the total collection to Rs 79 lakhs at the domestic box office.
