Marco Box Office Collection Day 12 (Hindi): Remember when Sandeep Vanga Reddy's Animal left everyone shocked in 2023? It was touted to be one of the most gory films in Indian cinema. And now, the recent Malayalam action thriller has managed to win the title and has left everyone in absolute awe. We are talking about Unni Mukundan starrer Marco which is directed and written by Haneef Adeni and has been one of the most talked about releases of 2024.

Also starring Siddique, Jagadish, Abhimanyu S Thilakan, Kabir Duhan Singh, Anson Paul and Yukti Tareja, Marco had released On December 20 and had premiered in Malayalam and Hindi. The movie opened to rave reviews from the audience and critics and has left everyone brimming with an opinion.

Interestingly, Marco, which had an impressive hike during the second weekend, saw a drop of over 35% on the second Monday in the Hindi speaking market. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Marco minted Rs 55 lakhs on day 11 (second Monday) followed by a slight hike in numbers on New Year eve wherein it raked in Rs 60 lakhs on day 12 (second Tuesday) in the Hindi domain. This took the overall collection of the movie Rs 3.13 crores in the Hindi domain

Marco Beats Its Opening Day Collection (Hindi)

Interestingly, with a collection of Rs 60 lakhs, Marco has managed to beat the opening day collection in the Hindi market. For the uninitiated, Marco made a collection of Rs 1 lakhs in the Hindi domain on the day of release and picked up pace during the second week only.

Meanwhile, Marco producer Shareef Muhammed, in an interview with Red FM Malayalam, spoke about the violent content in the film and said, "The Censor team has not fully cut down the violence. They have only reduced the brutality. All violent scenes will have a varying range of brutality. And whenever the brutality was high, the Censor Board recommended to reduce it. It was more brutal, in some scenes. But that the Censor cut as it is against their rules"
