Marco Box Office Collection Day 13 (Hindi): Unni Mukundan and his fans can't stop grinning from ear to ear. After all, his recent release Marco has been one of the most talked about films lately. Directed by Haneef Adeni, Unni Mukundan has been an action thriller which also features Siddique, Jagadish, Abhimanyu S Thilakan, Kabir Duhan Singh, Anson Paul and Yukti Tareja in the lead. From the trailer to the stellar cast, Marco has been the talk of the town since the first day itself and opened to rave reviews from the audience and critics.
Interestingly, Marco has emerged as one of the most violent films in India. The movie had released on December 20 in Malayalam and was later dubbed in Hindi. As it hit the theatres amid massive buzz, it has managed to have an impressive response at the box office. And while Marco is in the second week, it is maintaining a good hold at the box office

While Marco made a collection of Rs 55 Lakhs on day 11 (second Monday), it was followed by a slight hike in numbers on day 12 (second Tuesday) wherein it earned Rs 60 lakhs in the Hindi speaking market. However, the New Year celebrations came with a massive game changing hike for Marco. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Marco raked in Rs 1.2 crores on day 13 (second Wednesday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 4.33 crores in Hindi market.
Marco Records Its Highest Single Day Collection
Interestingly, Marco has managed to create a record as it registered its highest single day collection on day 13. Yes! The movie, which didn't cross Rs 85 lakhs so far, made a collection of over Rs 1 crores lately.
Meanwhile, Marco producer Shareef Muhammed, in an interview with Red FM Malayalam, spoke about the violent content in the film and said, "The Censor team has not fully cut down the violence. They have only reduced the brutality. All violent scenes will have a varying range of brutality. And whenever the brutality was high, the Censor Board recommended to reduce it. It was more brutal, in some scenes. But that the Censor cut as it is against their rules".
