Marco Box Office Collection Day 14 (Hindi): Unni Mukundan has all the reasons to be on cloud nine these days. After all, the handsome hunk's recent release Marco has got the tongues wagging for all the good reasons. Directed by Haneef Adeni, Marco is an action thriller which had hit the theatres in December 20 and opened to rave reviews not just in India but across the world. Starring Unni Mukundan in the lead, Marco has been touted to be one of the most violent films of the Indian cinema.

Also starring Siddique, Jagadish, Abhimanyu S Thilakan, Kabir Duhan Singh, Anson Paul and Yukti Tareja in the lead, Marco has managed to create a massive buzz in the town owing to its impressive trailer and interesting ensemble of cast. As Marco has opened to impressive reviews, it has been going strong at the box office especially during the new year celebrations. To note. After recording its highest single day collection on New Year, saw a massive drop of 43% in collections on day 14 (second Thursday). According to a report published in Sacnilk, Marco minted Rs 1.15 crores on day 13 (second Wednesday) followed by a drop in numbers and earned Rs 65 lakhs on day 14 (second Thursday) in the Hindi speaking market. This took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 4.93 crores in Hindi domain

Interestingly, Marco, which witnessed a slow start at the box office in the first week, saw an impressive hike during the second week. As per Sacnilk, Marco made a total collection of Rs 4.65 crores in second week in the Hindi market.

Meanwhile, Marco producer Shareef Muhammed, in an interview with Red FM Malayalam, spoke about the violent content in the film and said, "The Censor team has not fully cut down the violence. They have only reduced the brutality. All violent scenes will have a varying range of brutality. And whenever the brutality was high, the Censor Board recommended to reduce it. It was more brutal, in some scenes. But that the Censor cut as it is against their rules".
