Mastiii 4 Box Office Collection Day 1: Riteish’s Film Sees Slow Start; Beats Farhan’s 120 Bahadur By A Whisker

Mastiii 4 Box Office Collection Day 1: Mastiii 4 is the latest addition to the Masti franchise, continuing the adult-comedy style for which the series is known. The film features the return of its popular lead trio-Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, and Aftab Shivdasani-as Amar, Meet, and Prem, respectively, with new and familiar faces in supporting roles. Mastiii 4 sticks closely to the franchise formula, blending naughty comedy and over-the-top humor reminiscent of other Bollywood adult comedies like Housefull.
For the uninitiated, Mastiii 4 is the fourth installment of the Masti franchise began with the hit 2004 film Masti and is recognized for its bold, slapstick humor with mature themes. It evolved through sequels Grand Masti (2013), Great Grand Masti (2016), and now Mastiii 4 in 2025, each time raising the stakes and comedic antics around the theme of frustrated husbands pursuing thrills outside their marriages. However, Mastiii 4 opened to a mixed response from the audience but saw a slow start at the box office

Meanwhile, during a conversation with NDTV, Farhan opened up about the challenges they faced while shooting for 120 Bahadur at 14000 feet in Ladakh and stated, "You're shooting in any place that is inhospitable to a certain degree, it's always a challenge. Ladakh, of course. So we were shooting at about 14,000 feet. The weather was extremely hot at times and then extremely cold. We experienced dust storms like I'd never seen before in Ladakh - and I've been there many times myself".
