According to a report published in Sacnilk, Metro In Dino, which minted Rs 3.5 crores on day 1, saw a hike of over 71% in collection and minted Rs 6 crores on day 2 (first Saturday). This took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 9.23 crores

Metro In Dino Fails To Beat Sky Force On 1st Saturday

While Metro In Dino has failed to touch Rs 10 crores mark in 2 days, it has also failed to beat Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan's Sky Force with a huge gap. For the uninitiated, Sky Force had minted Rs 22 crores on day 2 of release.

Meanwhile, talking about Metro In Dino, Sara told Deccan Chronicle, "This film is really special because I have always wanted to work with Anurag Basu sir. From watching and loving Metro to now featuring in it. Dreams really do come true. I have been an Anurag Basu fan - now I can say I am an Anurag Basu heroine too".
