In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat, film business expert stated that Metro In Dino is likely to have a disappointing opening weekend. The movie is expected to rake Rs 15-16 crores on first weekend. The trade analyst asserted, "It is very bad, horrible because 80cr se upar ka budget hai, franchise hai. Film bhi achi hai, word of mouth bhi acha hai, leking uske bawajood bhi film zyada grow ni kar payi hai". To note, Metro In Dino has minted Rs 3.66 crores so far at 5:20 PM and the collection stands at Rs 13.16 crores

Meanwhile, talking about Metro In Dino, Sara told Deccan Chronicle, "This film is really special because I have always wanted to work with Anurag Basu sir. From watching and loving Metro to now featuring in it. Dreams really do come true. I have been an Anurag Basu fan - now I can say I am an Anurag Basu heroine too".
