Metro In Dino Box Office Collection Day 3: Sara Ali Khan has collaborated with Aditya Roy Kapur for the first time in Metro In Dino and the fans can't keep calm about this new pair. Interestingly, Metro In Dino has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Directed by Anurag Basu, the musical romantic drama is the spiritual sequel to the 2007 release Life In A Metro and marked the filmmaker's return to direction after 5 years.

Apart from Sara and Aditya, Metro In Dino also features Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, Ali Fazal, Konkona Sen Sharma and Fatima Sana Shaikh in key roles. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Metro In Dino saw a hike of 18% in numbers and minted Rs 7.08 crores on day 3 (first Sunday). This took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 16.58 crores

Metro In Dino Beats Maa During Opening Weekend Collection

To note, Metro In Dino had minted Rs 6 crores day 2 (first Saturday) and Rs 7.08 crores day 3 (first Sunday). While the movie failed to touch Rs 20 crores, Metro In Dino has managed to rake in Rs 13.08 crores. Interestingly, Metro In Dino has managed to beat Kajol's Maa which had minted Rs 13 crores on its opening weekend.

Meanwhile, talking about Metro In Dino, Sara told Deccan Chronicle, "This film is really special because I have always wanted to work with Anurag Basu sir.
