Metro In Dino Morning Occupancy Day 1: After winning hearts with her performance in Sky Force, Sara Ali Khan is here with her second release of the year. We are talking about Metro In Dino which is a spiritual sequel to the 2007 release Life In A Metro. Directed by Anurag Basu, Metro In Dino is a musical romantic drama has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year which has managed to grab a lot of eyeballs with intriguing trailer and the stellar cast.

To note, apart from Sara, Metro In Dino also features Ali Fazal, Aditya Roy Kapur, Konkona Sen Sharma, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pankaj Tripathi, Anupam Kher and Neena Gupta. The movie marks Sara's first collaboration with Aditya and it brings four heartwarming stories of contemporary couples. Interestingly, Fatima is paired opposite Ali for the first time while Anupam was seen romancing Neena. On the other hand, Pankaj's chemistry with Konkona has also been the talk of the town and Metro In Dino has opened to mixed reviews

According to report shared by Sacnilk, Metro In Dino has recorded an occupancy of 8.64% on day 1 during the morning shows.

Interestingly, Metro In Dino has managed to surpass the opening day occupancy (Morning Shows) of Kajol's Maa - the most recent release in Bollywood) - which was around 8.23%. However, Metro In Dino has failed to beat Sitaare Zameen Par on day 1

Meanwhile, talking about Metro In Dino, Sara told Deccan Chronicle, "This film is really special because I have always wanted to work with Anurag Basu sir. From watching and loving Metro to now featuring in it. Dreams really do come true. I have been an Anurag Basu fan - now I can say I am an Anurag Basu heroine too".
