With an opening day collection of Rs 17.45 crores, Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning has recorded the highest opening for a non Marvel movie after beating Oppenheimer which had earned Rs 17.25 crores on its day of release.
Besides, Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning has emerged as the 8th biggest opener for a non-Indian movie.
On the other hand, Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning has managed to beat the opening day collection of Mission Impossible (Rs 2 crores), Mission Impossible 2 (Rs 7 crores) and Mission Impossible 3 (Rs 10 crores).
Meanwhile, Tom Cruise, in an interview with with TikTok creator Reece Feldman, spoke about the death-defying aerial sequence and stated, "I'm an aerobatic pilot being able to fly these airplanes, so I now choose the airplane and present it - what colors should they be, what engineers do I have building this aircraft and working on the engines and how far can I push that aircraft? Now I have to hire the crew; I audition the crew around me. And I'm learning how to wing walk, and this kind of wing-walking that we're doing has never been done before because what I want to do is really, really extreme. I'm a human being on that airplane - it was violent. It was so violent on that airplane"
