The movie experienced a surge in its collection on New Year's Day, January 1, 2025 (Wednesday). Pushpa 2 has set another remarkable milestone, breaking yet another box office record. Despite the release of Varun Dhawan's Baby John, there was no decline in the film's box office performance. The movie shattered multiple records on New Year's Day. This has moved up the Hindi box office collection of the movie to Rs. 774.65 Crore. Pushpa 2's total India net collection as of Day 28 is Rs. 1184.65 Crore. With just one day remaining in its fourth week, Pushpa 2 has already secured the title of the highest fourth-week collection for a Hindi film, having earned Rs. 50 Crore so far. The previous record-holder for fourth-week collections was Stree 2, which grossed Rs. 36.1 Crore. Furthermore, Pushpa 2 has made history by becoming the first Hindi movie to surpass Rs. 770 Crore in Hindi-language earnings.

There is no official confirmation about when exactly will Pushpa 2 be released on OTT. Business Standard reports that Pushpa 2 will allegedly release on Netflix probably by the end of January 2025.
