Raid 2 Advance Booking Collection Day 1 Update: Ajay Devgn's Raid 2 is one of the most anticipated releases of the year and there are no second thoughts about it. Helmed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 is a crime thriller drama which is the sequel to the 2018 release Raid which was a box office hit. Marking as Ajay's first full fledged release of the year, Raid 2 also features Vaani Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in the lead and happens to be one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

For the uninitiated, Raid 2 features Ajay Devgn returning as the determined IRS officer Amay Patnaik while Riteish plays the role of the lead antagonist. The film revolves around Amay Patnaik's 75th raid, targeting the influential Dada Manohar Bhai (played by Riteish Deshmukh). Interestingly, Raid 2 marks Ajay's fourth collaboration with Riteish Masti, Cash, and Total Dhamaal. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Raid 2 has managed to make a collection of Rs 3.37 crores as of 5:30 PM on April 30 with a sale of over 1.2 lakh tickets

Interestingly, Raid 2 is likely to beat the advance booking collection of Akshay Kumar's Sky Force (Rs 3.82 crores) today and will be recording third highest advance booking collection of 2025.

Meanwhile, Ajay recently got candid about Vaani Kapoor replacing Ileana D'Cruz as the female lead in Raid 2 and stated, "You see it in a lot of Hollywood films also. Still, Sean Connery is not the James Bond. It's the character you follow, and then new people keep coming in".
