Raid 2 Box Office Collection Day 2 Prediction: Ajay Devgn's recent release Raid 2 has been one of the most talked about releases of the year. The much awaited sequel ot 2018 release Raid, Raid 2 is helmed by Raj Kumar Gupta and happens to be a crime thriller drama. While Ajay Devgn is seen reprising his role of IRS officer Amay Patnaik, Raid 2 also features Vaani Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, Supriya Pathak, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla and Amit Sial in key roles. Interestingly, Raid 2 received a phenomenal response in terms of advance booking and mints Rs 6.52 crores

Speaking about the plot, Raid 2 features Amay Patnaik (played by Ajay Devgn) who is back to conduct his 75th raid. On the other hand, Riteish is seen as the lead antagonist Dada Manohar Bhai who is a corrupt politician and happens to be on Amay's target. Raid 2 marks Ajay's first collaboration with Vaani and 4th one with Riteish after Cash, Masti and Total Dhamaal. Interestingly, Raid 2 has opened to rave reviews from the audience and critics.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Raid 2 has made a opening day collection of Rs 18.25 crores (day 1/ first Thursday) and recorded the third highest opening of 2025.

Given the ongoing trend, Raid 2 is likely to see a dip in numbers. The movie is expected to rake in Rs 10-15 crores today (day 2/ first Friday) and will be inching close to Rs 30 crores mark ahead of the first weekend.

Meanwhile, Ajay recently got candid about Vaani Kapoor replacing Ileana D'Cruz as the female lead in Raid 2 and stated, "You see it in a lot of Hollywood films also. Still, Sean Connery is not the James Bond. It's the character you follow, and then new people keep coming in". To note, Raid 2 is set to release on May 1 and will have a box office clash with Sanjay Dutt's The Bhootnii.
