Raid 2 Box Office Collection Day 20: Ajay Devgn is on a roll with Raid 2, the much talked about sequel to the 2018 hit Raid, and there are no second thoughts about it. Reprising his role as the fearless IRS officer Amay Patnaik, Ajay Devgn took audiences on another adrenaline-pumping mission, as he is here for his 75th high-stakes raid. Helmed by director Rajkumar Gupta, the film boasts an impressive lineup, including Vaani Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in pivotal roles, alongside Amit Sial, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, and Supriya Pathak in the supporting roles.

While expectations were soaring for Raid 2 given the phenomenal success of Raid, this Ajay Devgn starrer didn't disappoint. The fresh chemistry between Ajay and Vaani adds a compelling dynamic, while his fierce face-offs with Riteish Deshmukh aka the antagonist Dada Manohar Bhai, added to the key elements of the movie. Interestingly, this marks Ajay and Riteish's fourth collaboration after Cash, Masti, and Total Dhamaal respectively.

Raid 2, which saw a massive dip in numbers on the third Monday, is maintaining a steady hold at the box office with a slight hike. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Raid 2, which minted Rs 1.85 crores on third Monday (day 19), made a collection of Rs 1.97 crores on day 20 (third Tuesday). This took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 153.07 crores.

Raid 2 Set To Beat Total Dhamaal Lifetime Collection

Interestingly, Raid 2 is inching close to surpassing the lifetime collection of Ajay Devgn's 2019 release Total Dhamaal (Rs 155.67 crores) and become Ajay's 5th highest grosser of all time.

Meanwhile, Ajay recently got candid about Vaani Kapoor replacing Ileana D'Cruz as the female lead in Raid 2 and stated, "You see it in a lot of Hollywood films also. Still, Sean Connery is not the James Bond. It's the character you follow, and then new people keep coming in".
