Raid 2 Box Office Collection Day 30: Ajay Devgn's recent release Raid 2 has been the talk of the town for several reasons now. The movie, which has been the sequel to 2018 release Raid, is a crime thriller drama wherein Ajay was seen reprising his role as the honest and fearless IRS officer Amay Patnaik who is making headlines for his 75th raid. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 also features Vaani Kapoor as the female lead along with Riteish Deshmukh as the lead antagonist Dada Manohar Bhai - a corrupt politician

Apart from the lead trio, Raid 2 also features Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Amit Sial, Supriya Pathak and Yashpal Sharma in supporting roles. The movie marks Ajay's first collaboration with Vaani and their chemistry has been the talk of the town since the beginning. On the other hand, Raid 2 also features a face off between Ajay and Riteish which has left everyone quite intrigued. To note, Raid 2 marks Ajay's 4th collaboration with Riteish after Cash, Masti and Total Dhamaal

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Raid 2 has been maintaining a steady hold at the box office. The movie minted Rs 70 lakhs on day 30 (5th Thursday) at the box office which took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 165.1 crores.

On the other hand, Raid 2 continues to be the talk of the town after a week of release and raked in Rs 8.25 crores in the 4th week.

Meanwhile, Ajay recently got candid about Vaani Kapoor replacing Ileana D'Cruz as the female lead in Raid 2 and stated, "You see it in a lot of Hollywood films also. Still, Sean Connery is not the James Bond. It's the character you follow, and then new people keep coming in". To note, Raid 2 is set to release on May 1 and will have a box office clash with Sanjay Dutt's The Bhootnii.
