Raid 2 Box Office Collection Day 4: Ajay’s Film Sees Hike During 1st Weekend; Creates Big Record

Raid 2 Box Office Collection Day 4: Ajay Devgn is one of the most versatile and successful actors in the industry and there are no second thoughts about it. While he has proved his worth onscreen time and again over the decades, he makes it to be a memorable experience for his fans everytime he hits the screens. And now his fans can't keep calm as his recent release Raid 2 has been doing wonders at the box office. For the uninitiated, Raid 2 is a sequel to the 2018 release Raid.

Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 is a crime thriller drama which also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Vaani Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Amit Sial, Saurabh Shukla and Supriya Pathak. Interestingly, Ajay will be seen reprising his role of IRS officer Amay Patnaik who is conducting his 75th raid and this time it's Dada Manohar Bhai (played by Riteish Deshmukh) a corrupt politician on his target. To note, Raid 2 marks Ajay's fourth collaboration with Riteish after Cash, Masti and Total Dhamaal. As Raid 2 opened to rave reviews, it has been ruling the box office

After witnessing a jump of 50% in numbers on day 3 (first Saturday), Raid 2 saw another hike and minted Rs 22.33 crores on day 4 (first Sunday) taking the overall collections of the movie to Rs 71.58 crores. To note, Raid 2 has managed to beat its prequel Raid on first Sunday as it minted Rs 17.11 crores.

Raid 2 Records 2nd Highest Day 4 Collection Of 2025

Interestingly, with a collection of Rs 22.33 crores on day 4, Raid 2 has managed to record the second highest collection of 2025 after Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava (Rs 24 crores)

Raid 2 Opening Weekend Collection

With a collection of Rs 18 crores on the first Saturday and Rs 22.33 crores on the first Sunday, Raid 2 has managed to make a collection of Rs 40.33 crores during the opening weekend.

Meanwhile, Ajay recently got candid about Vaani Kapoor replacing Ileana D'Cruz as the female lead in Raid 2 and stated, "You see it in a lot of Hollywood films also. Still, Sean Connery is not the James Bond. It's the character you follow, and then new people keep coming in". To note, Raid 2 is set to release on May 1 and will have a box office clash with Sanjay Dutt's The Bhootnii.
