Raid 2 Box Office Collection Day 5: Ajay Devgn's recent release Raid 2 has been one of the most talked about releases of the year. Marking as Ajay's first full fledged release of the year, Raid 2, which is a crime thriller drama, is the much awaited sequel to the 2018 release Raid. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 also comes with a stellar cast of Riteish Deshmukh, Vaani Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Amit Sial, Supriya Pathak and Saurabh Shukla. Given the massive success of Raid, Raid 2 has undoubtedly managed to create a lot of buzz in the town.

For the uninitiated, Raid 2 features Ajay reprising his role of IRS officer Amay Patnaik who is here to conduct his 75th raid. Interestingly, this time it's Dada Manohar Bhai (played by Riteish Deshmukh) - a renowned and corrupt politician, who is on Amay Patnaik's radar. While Vaani Kapoor has collaborated with Ajay Devgn for the first time, the movie marks Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior's fourth collaboration with Riteish after Cash, Masti and Total Dhamaal. After ruling the box office during the opening weekend, Raid 2 saw a major drop of over 64% in numbers on the first Monday. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Raid 2 minted Rs 7.75 crores on day 5 (first Monday) which took the overall collections of Raid 2 to Rs 79 crores.

Interestingly, with a collection of Rs 7.75 crores on day 5, Raid 2 has managed to beat Kesari Chapter 2 (Rs 5 crores), Sky Force (Rs 5.75 crores), Jaat (Rs 7.25 crores) and Sikandar (Rs 6 crores). As a result, Raid 2 has recorded the second highest day 5 collection of 2025 after Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava.

Meanwhile, Ajay recently got candid about Vaani Kapoor replacing Ileana D'Cruz as the female lead in Raid 2 and stated, "You see it in a lot of Hollywood films also. Still, Sean Connery is not the James Bond. It's the character you follow, and then new people keep coming in". To note, Raid 2 is set to release on May 1 and will have a box office clash with Sanjay Dutt's The Bhootnii.
