Raid 2 Box Office Collection Day 6: Ajay Devgn is all over the headlines lately and rightfully so. After all, his recent release Raid 2 has opened to rave reviews and has been thriving at the box office. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 has been a crime thriller which also features names like Riteish Deshmukh as lead antagonist, Vaani Kapoor, Amit Sial, Rajat Kapoor, Supriya Pathak and Saurabh Shukla. To note, Raid 2 has been the much awaited sequel to the 2018 release Raid and has been basking in the success of its first installment.

For the uninitiated, Raid 2 features Ajay Devgn reprising the role of IRS officer Amay Patnaik who is conducting the 75th raid of his career. Interestingly, while Ajay was seen locking horns with Saurabh Shukla in Raid, this time he had a face off with Riteish Deshmukh. To note, Riteish is seen playing the role of a corrupt politician. To note, Raid 2 marks Ajay's fourth collaboration with Riteish after Cast, Masti and Total Dhamaal. Needless to say, Raid 2 has been thriving at the box office.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Raid 2 saw another dip in numbers as it minted Rs 7 crores on day 6 (first Tuesday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 85.75 crores. While Raid 2 is expected to see another tip in numbers today, it will be interesting to see if Raid 2 can cross Rs 90 crores in week 1 today (day 7/ prediction)

Raid 2 Surpasses Kesari Chapter 2 Collection

Interestingly, with a strong hold at the box office during the first week itself, Raid 2 has managed to mint Rs 85.75 crores in six days and has managed to surpass the total collections of Akshay Kumar's Kesari Chapter 2 which happens to be Rs 82.28 crores in 19 days.

Meanwhile, Ajay recently got candid about Vaani Kapoor replacing Ileana D'Cruz as the female lead in Raid 2 and stated, "You see it in a lot of Hollywood films also. Still, Sean Connery is not the James Bond. It's the character you follow, and then new people keep coming in". To note, Raid 2 is set to release on May 1 and will have a box office clash with Sanjay Dutt's The Bhootnii.
