Raid 2 Hit or Flop: Ajay Devgn's massive fan following has all the reasons to be on cloud nine today. After all, his much talked about crime thriller drama Raid 2 is set to hit the screens today. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 is the sequel to the 2018 release Raid and also features Vaani Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in the lead. To note, Raid 2 marks Ajay's first collaboration with Vaani Kapoor.

Interestingly, Ajay will be seen reprising his role of IRS officer Amay Patnaik in Raid 2 who is back to conduct his 75th raid. In fact, Ajay will be seen locking horns with Riteish Deshmukh who plays the role of a corrupt politician Dada Manohar Bhai. For the uninitiated, Raid 2 marks Ajay and Riteish's fourth collaboration after Cash, Masti and Total Dhamaal respectively. Besides, Raid 2 also features Rajat Kapoor, Suarabh Shukla, Amit Sial and Supriya Pathak in supporting roles. As Raid 2 has managed to create a massive buzz, there have been speculations about when this Ajay Devgn starrer will be a hit at the box office.

According to media reports, Raid 2 is made with a budget of Rs 40-50 crores and is set to be shot in Mumbai, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan

In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat, film business expert Rohit Jaiswal stated thatRaid 2 is expected to make an opening day collection of around Rs 14 crores.

If the box office reports turned out to be true, Raid 2 will emerge as the third highest opener of 2025 after Chhaava and Sikandar respectivey. This isn't all. It will become Vaani Kapoor's second highest opener of all times and second highest opener for Riteish Deshmukh post COVID 19.
