Raid 2 Box Office Report Day 15: Ajay Devgn's latest release Raid 2 has been making waves and has been impressively performing at the box office since the beginning. Undoubtedly, Raid 2 is basking in the success of its predecessor Raid which was released in 2018. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 features Ajay Devgn once again stepping into the shoes of IRS officer Amay Patnaik, embarking on his 75th raid. Raid 2's cast also features Vaani Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in pivotal roles, alongside Amit Sial, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, and Supriya Pathak in supporting capacities.

While Ajay and Vaani's fresh chemistry has been grabbing eyeballs, the Singham Again actor's face off with Riteish Deshmukh has been one of the key elements of Raid 2. For the uninitiated, Riteish plays the role of lead antagonist Dada Manohar Bhai who is a corrupt politician. To note, Raid 2 marks fourth project of Ajay and Riteish together after Cash, Masti, and Total Dhamaal. The movie's release was met with enthusiastic responses from audiences, contributing to its impressive box office performance.

After minting Rs 3.35 crores on day 14 (second Wednesday), Raid 2 is expected to see a slight dip in numbers based on the box office graph. This is because the much awaited Final Destination Bloodlines has hit the theatres today and fans are gearing up for Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning. Going by the box office trends, Raid 2 is likely to earn Rs 2.5-3 crores and will be crossing Rs 135 crores. In fact, it has earned Rs 61 lakhs as at 3 PM

Interestingly, with Raid 2 standing tall at Rs 134.06 crores, Ajay Devgn's total earnings post COVID 19 turns out to be Rs 1015.93 crores. These includes 10 releases - Runway 34, Thank God, Drishyam 2, Bholaa, Shaitaan, Maidaan, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, Singham Again, Naam and Raid 2. It is important to mention that, Ajay Devgn has managed to become the third Bollywood actor with 1000+ earnings after Deepika Padukone (Rs 1432.17 crores) and Shah Rukh Khan (Rs 1415.64 crores). Interestingly, Ajay Devgn has managed to beat Ranbir Kapoor whose post COVID 19 earnings are Rs 1011 crores

Meanwhile, Ajay recently got candid about Vaani Kapoor replacing Ileana D'Cruz as the female lead in Raid 2 and stated, "You see it in a lot of Hollywood films also. Still, Sean Connery is not the James Bond. It's the character you follow, and then new people keep coming in".
