Raid 2 Morning Occupancy Day 2: Ajay Devgn's latest release Raid 2 has taken the entertainment world by storm ever since it was announced. This crime action thriller, which was helmed by Raj Kumar Gupta, is the sequel to the 2018 hit, Raid. Apart from Ajay, Raid 2 also features Vaani Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, Amit Sial, and Saurabh Shukla among others and the crime thriller has successfully garnered significant attention and excitement.

To note, Raid 2 features Ajay Devgn reprising his role as the determined IRS officer Amay Patnaik, embarking on his 75th raid. This time, his path crosses with Riteish Deshmukh's character, a corrupt politician named Dada Manohar Bhai, setting the stage for a gripping confrontation. The film not only brings back Ajay in a familiar avatar but also marks his first collaboration with Vaani Kapoor and his fourth with Riteish Deshmukh, following their collaborations in Cash, Masti, and Total Dhamaal. This blend of old and new relationships on-screen has piqued the interest of moviegoers, adding to the anticipation surrounding the film.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Raid 2 witnessed a massive drop in footfalls in morning shows on day 2. After recording an occupancy of 21.23% during the morning shows on the opening day (day 1/ first Thursday), Raid 2 saw a footfall of 7.13% during morning shows on day 2 (first Friday).

Raid 2 Fails To Beat Jaat, Sky Force

Interestingly, with an occupancy of 7.13% during morning shows on day 2, Raid 2 has failed to beat Jaat (11.10%) and Sky Force (23.52%) in terms of occupancy durin morning shows on day 2.

Meanwhile, Ajay recently got candid about Vaani Kapoor replacing Ileana D'Cruz as the female lead in Raid 2 and stated, "You see it in a lot of Hollywood films also. Still, Sean Connery is not the James Bond. It's the character you follow, and then new people keep coming in". To note, Raid 2 is set to release on May 1 and will have a box office clash with Sanjay Dutt's The Bhootnii.
