Raid 2 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 2: Ajay Devgn's Raid 2 has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year. The much awaited sequel of the 2018 release Raid, Raid 2 is a crime thriller drama which is helmed by Raj Kumar Gupta. The movie features Ajay Devgn reprising his role of IRS officer Amay Patnaik who is here to conduct his 75th raid. Given the success of Raid, Raid 2 has managed to create a massive buzz in the town and it did open to rave reviews from the audience since the first day.

Interestingly, unlike Raid, Raid 2 features Vaani Kapoor as the female lead along with Riteish Deshmukh as the lead antagonist as he plays the role of a corrupt politician Dada Manohar Bhai. This movie not only marks Ajay Devgn's first collaboration with Vaani Kapoor but also rekindles his on-screen partnership with Riteish Deshmukh, with whom he has previously worked in films like Cast, Masti, and Total Dhamaal. This isn't all. Apart from the lead trio, Raid 2 also feature Saurabh Shukla, Rajat Kapoor, Supriya Pathak, and Amit Sial in supporting role. With its unique blend of suspense and drama, the film has managed to garner massive attention and positive feedback from viewers and critics alike.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Raid 2, which made an overseas collection of Rs 3 crores on day 1, saw a massive dip in numbers on the second day of release. The movie raked in Rs 25 lakhs on day 2 (first Friday) which took the overall overseas collection of Raid 2 to Rs 3.25 crores

Interestingly, the total worldwide collection of Raid 2 stands at 40.50 crores after two days of release

Meanwhile, Ajay recently got candid about Vaani Kapoor replacing Ileana D'Cruz as the female lead in Raid 2 and stated, "You see it in a lot of Hollywood films also. Still, Sean Connery is not the James Bond. It's the character you follow, and then new people keep coming in". To note, Raid 2 is set to release on May 1 and will have a box office clash with Sanjay Dutt's The Bhootnii.
