Raid 2 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 2 Prediction: The much talked about recent release Raid 2, which is the sequel to the 2018 release Raid, has taken the theatres like a storm ever since it has hit the screens on May 1. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 features Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Vaani Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Rajat Kapoor, Supriya Pathak, Amit Sial in the lead. Touted to be a crime thriller, Raid 2 features Ajay reprising his role as IRS officer Amay Patnaik who is here to embark on his 75th raid.

While Vaani Kapoor had stepped into the role of the female lead, Riteish Deshmukh plays the role of lead antagonist Dada Manohar Bhai who happens to be on Amay Patnaik's target. Interestingly, Ajay and Riteish's face off added a layer of intensity and drama, promising viewers a thrilling cinematic experience. To note, Raid 2 marks Ajay's fourth collaboration with Riteish after Cash, Masti and Total Dhamaal. Interestingly, Raid 2 has witnessed a decent opening at the worldwide box office as well.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Raid 2 garnered Rs 3 crores on its first day in the overseas markets. The film's global earnings have reached a total of Rs 25.75 crores.

Given the ongoing trend, Raid 2 is expected to inch close to Rs 5 crores in the overseas market on day 2 (first Friday) while the total worldwide collection will be inching close to Rs 50 crores mark.

Meanwhile, Ajay recently got candid about Vaani Kapoor replacing Ileana D'Cruz as the female lead in Raid 2 and stated, "You see it in a lot of Hollywood films also. Still, Sean Connery is not the James Bond. It's the character you follow, and then new people keep coming in". To note, Raid 2 is set to release on May 1 and will have a box office clash with Sanjay Dutt's The Bhootnii.
