Raid 2 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 3: Ajay’s Film Sees Hike; Crosses 60Cr WW On 1st Saturday

Raid 2 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 3: Raid 2, starring Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh and Vaani Kapoor in the lead, has been one of the most talked about releases of the year. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 is a crime thriller drama and is the much talked about sequel to the 2018 release Raid. The movie marks Ajay's first collaboration with Vaani Kapoor as he returns as IRS officer Amay Patnaik once again to conduct his 75th raid. From stellar cast to interesting plot, everything about Raid 2 has managed to create a massive buzz in the town.

Also starring Rajat Kapoor, Supriya Pathak, Saurabh Shukla and Amit Sial, Raid 2 revolves around Amay Patanik conducting a raid on premises of Dada Manohar Bhai (played by Riteish Deshmukh) who happens to be a corrupt politician. Interestingly, Raid 2 marks Ajay's fourth collaboration with Riteish after Cash, Masti and Total Dhamaal. As Raid 2 had hit the screens amid massive buzz, it managed to open to rave reviews from the audience and critics not just in India but across the world.

Raid 2 Overseas Box Office Collection Day 2

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Raid 2, which made an overseas collection of Rs 3 crores on day 1 and just Rs 25 lakhs on day 2, saw a massive hike in numbers on the third day of release. The movie raked in Rs 1.75 crores on day 3 (first Sunday) which took the overall overseas collection of Raid 2 to Rs 5 crores

Interestingly, the total worldwide collection of Raid 2 stands at Rs 63.75 crores after three days of release

Meanwhile, Ajay recently got candid about Vaani Kapoor replacing Ileana D'Cruz as the female lead in Raid 2 and stated, "You see it in a lot of Hollywood films also. Still, Sean Connery is not the James Bond. It's the character you follow, and then new people keep coming in". To note, Raid 2 is set to release on May 1 and will have a box office clash with Sanjay Dutt's The Bhootnii.
