According to a report published in Sacnilk, Raid 2 made an overseas collection of Rs 25 lakhs on day 2 which took the overall overseas collection of the movie to Rs 3.25 crores and the worldwide collection of the film stands at Rs 40.50 crores

Given the ongoing trend, Raid 2 is expected to inch close to Rs 5 crores in the overseas market on day 3 (first Saturday) while the total worldwide collection will be inching close to Rs 60 crores mark.

Meanwhile, Ajay recently got candid about Vaani Kapoor replacing Ileana D'Cruz as the female lead in Raid 2 and stated, "You see it in a lot of Hollywood films also. Still, Sean Connery is not the James Bond. It's the character you follow, and then new people keep coming in". To note, Raid 2 is set to release on May 1 and will have a box office clash with Sanjay Dutt's The Bhootnii.
