Raid 2 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 5: Ajay Devgn starrer Raid 2 has been the talk of the town ever since it was announced. After all, it is the much awaited sequel to the 2018 release Raid which was a hit among the audience. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 is a crime thriller drama which also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Amit Sial, Vaani Kapoor, Supriya Pathak, Saurabh Shukla and Rajat Kapoor in the lead. To note, Raid 2 also features Ajay reprising his role of IRS officer Amay Patnaik.

For the uninitiated, Raid 2 revolves around Amay Patnaik who is here to conduct his 75th raid and was seen locking horns with Dada Manohar Bhai (played by Riteish Deshmukh). While Ajay and Riteish's face off has left everyone mighty intrigued, Vaani Kapoor was seen romancing the Singham Again actor for the first time onscreen in Raid 2. As Raid 2 was released amid massive buzz, it opened to rave reviews and has been thriving at the box office in India and across the world

Raid 2 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 5

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Raid 2 made a collection of Rs 1.5 crores in the overseas market on day 5 which took the overall overseas collection to Rs 15 crores. On the other hand, Raid 2 has also entered the coveted Rs 100 crores club worldwide as the total worldwide collection stands at Rs 108.65 crores after five days.

Raid 2 Surpasses Sky Force Lifetime Overseas Collection

With a total overseas collection of Rs 15 crores, Raid 2 has managed to surpass the lifetime overseas collection of Akshay Kumar's Sky Force which happened to be around 14.5 crores.

Meanwhile, Ajay recently got candid about Vaani Kapoor replacing Ileana D'Cruz as the female lead in Raid 2 and stated, "You see it in a lot of Hollywood films also. Still, Sean Connery is not the James Bond. It's the character you follow, and then new people keep coming in". To note, Raid 2 is set to release on May 1 and will have a box office clash with Sanjay Dutt's The Bhootnii.
