After all, they have made their big Bollywood debut with Saiyaara. This new jodi has already created a stir in the town with their sizzling chemistry. Directed by Mohit Suri, Saiyaara is a musical romantic drama which is presented by YRF and also features Varun Badola in a key role. Given the phenomenal buzz in the town, there have been speculations about whether Saiyaara will be touching Rs 100 crores mark at the box office during the opening weekend. In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat, film business expert Rohit Jaiswal stated that Saiyaara will be seeing a hike in numbers on day 3 (first Sunday) and is likely to mint Rs 26 crores today. He emphasised that Saiyaar's weekend collection will be around Rs 72 crores. Looks like Saiyaara will have to wait for few days before entering the coveted Rs 100 crore club.
Meanwhile, Mohit Suri spoke about Saiyaara's comparisons with Aashiqui and told Firstpost, "When I made Zeher, they said it looked like Murder. When I made Ek Villain, they said it looked like Murder 2. When I made Malang, they said it looked like Ek Villain. When I made Aashiqui 2, they said it looked like Woh Lame and Rockstar. So I think when I go ahead and make my next film, they'll say it looks like Saiyaara. I think when they're comparing it to my own work rather than somebody else's, it's good".
