Saiyaara Box Office Collection Day 5: Ahaan’s Film Sees Hike On 1st Tues; Did It Beat Chhaava For New Record?

Saiyaara Box Office Collection Day 5: Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda have all the reasons to be on cloud nine. After all, the newcomers have managed to create a massive buzz in the town with their grand debut Saiyaara which has emerged as a box office banger. Directed by Mohit Suri, Saiyaara has been a musical romantic drama which had released on July 18 and was presented by YRF. Also starring Varun Badola, Rajesh Kumar and Shaan Grover in key roles, Saiyaara has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year and revolved around a young couple and the highs and lows of their relationship.
Interestingly, Saiyaara marks Mohit Suri's first collaboration with YRF. This isn't all. It also marked his return to the big screen direction almost three years since the release of 2022 release Ek Villain Returns. From a fresh pair grabbing eyeballs with its sizzling chemistry to the songs touching millions of hearts, Saiyaara was released amid a massive buzz and opened to rave reviews from the audience and critics. In fact, it has managed to set the box office on fire since the first day and remains unstoppable in the first week

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Saiyaara saw a hike in numbers on first Tuesday (day 5) wherein it minted Rs 25 crores. This took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 132.25 crores

Saiyaara Records Second Highest First Tuesday In 2025
With a collection of Rs 25 crores on day 5 (first Tuesday), Saiyaara has managed to beat Salman Khan's Sikandar on first Tuesday as the latter had minted Rs 19.5 crores. As a result, Saiyaara has managed to record the second highest day 5 and first Tuesday of 2025 afte Chhaava
Meanwhile, Mohit Suri spoke about Saiyaara's comparisons with Aashiqui and told Firstpost, "When I made Zeher, they said it looked like Murder. When I made Ek Villain, they said it looked like Murder 2. When I made Malang, they said it looked like Ek Villain. When I made Aashiqui 2, they said it looked like Woh Lame and Rockstar. So I think when I go ahead and make my next film, they'll say it looks like Saiyaara. I think when they're comparing it to my own work rather than somebody else's, it's good".
