Released on July 18, Saiyaara is a romantic musical drama which is helmed by Mohit Suri and presented by Yash Raj Films. This much talked about movie marks the big Bollywood debut of Ananya Panday's cousin Ahaan and Aneet and the newcomers have undoubtedly left a mark on the audience with their impressive performances and sizzling chemistry.

Interestingly, Saiyaara revolves around a young couple and the different lows and highs of their relationship. Marking Mohit Suri's return to direction after three years and Saiyaara has made the wait worth it. On the other hand, the music by Mithoon, Sachet-Parampara, Rishabh Kant, Vishal Mishra, Tanishk Bagchi, Faheem Abdullah, and Arslan Nizami have also emerged as chartbusters with the nation crooning the numbers. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Saiyaara saw a dip of 11% in numbers on day 7 (first Wednesday). The movie minted Rs 19 crores which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 172.75 crores.

Saiyaara Records Second Highest Week 1 Collection Of 2025

With Saiyaara's collection of Rs 172.75 crores in week 1, Ahaan has managed to beat Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan in the box office game. Yes! Saiyaara has managed to beat Housefull 5 (Rs 133.58 crores) and Sikandar (Rs 115 crores) and record the second highest week 1 collection after Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava (Rs 225.28 crores)

Meanwhile, Mohit Suri spoke about Saiyaara's comparisons with Aashiqui and told Firstpost, "When I made Zeher, they said it looked like Murder. When I made Ek Villain, they said it looked like Murder 2. When I made Malang, they said it looked like Ek Villain. When I made Aashiqui 2, they said it looked like Woh Lame and Rockstar. So I think when I go ahead and make my next film, they'll say it looks like Saiyaara. I think when they're comparing it to my own work rather than somebody else's, it's good".
