Saiyaara Box Office Collection Day 3 LIVE Updates: Who ever thought that a film starring newbies would shatter box office records and emerge as one of the highest openers of 2025? While movies like Sikandar, Emergency, Mere Husband Ki Biwi, Maa, Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyaan have struggled to garner numbers, one flick is spilling magic on the silver screen. There's no prize for guessing that we are talking about Saiyaara.

Mohit Suri's film is setting the cash registers jingling, aiming to recover its budget within the first few days of release. At a time when many Bollywood movies have failed to strike a chord with the audience, Saiyaara has become a fan-favourite.

The youngsters are loving the new romantic drama, while the general audience is also enjoying the on-screen romance between Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday. Mind you, there were no promotions featuring the leads or city tours.

Director Mohit Suri was the only one, who interacted with the media and shared his two cents about his project. YRF's strategy to not overexpose the leads worked like a charm.

A reliable industry source shared his comments about the spectacular start for Saiyaara. "The film proved everyone wrong. Bollywood is busy chasing numbers without any substantial plan. Multiple city tours, promotions with influencers, item songs and overexposure of leads won't help the projects, if they don't have solid script. The mystery factory around Aneet and Ahaan created anticipation among the audience, and the numbers proved it. Despite having newbies as main leads, the film created buzz and sustained the momentum," the source said.

Saiyaara opened with around Rs 22 crore, performing better than many films released in 2025. The numbers have been increased for the first day collection, as exhibitors increased the shows, Taran Adarsh said.
