In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat, film business expert Rohit Jaiswal stated that Saiyaara is expected to have a good hold at the box office on day 7 (first Thursday). He emphaised that Saiyaara is expected to cross Rs 170 crores mark in week 1 at the box office. If the reports are to be believe, the musical romantic drama is expected to mint over Rs 16 crores on day 7.

To note, if the box office collection prediction is to be believed, Saiyaara, which a collection of over Rs 170 crores, is likely to record second highest week 1 (7 days) collection of 2025 after Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava.

Meanwhile, Mohit Suri spoke about Saiyaara's comparisons with Aashiqui and told Firstpost, "When I made Zeher, they said it looked like Murder. When I made Ek Villain, they said it looked like Murder 2. When I made Malang, they said it looked like Ek Villain. When I made Aashiqui 2, they said it looked like Woh Lame and Rockstar. So I think when I go ahead and make my next film, they'll say it looks like Saiyaara. I think when they're comparing it to my own work rather than somebody else's, it's good".
