Saiyaara Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 1: Renowned filmmaker Mohit Suri has returned to direction after three years and we can't keep calm about it. After grabbing eyes with the 2022 release Ek Villain Returns, Mohit is back with Saiyaara which is a musical romantic drama and is presented by YRF. Interestingly, Saiyaara marks the big Bollywood debut of Ananya Panday's cousin Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. The newcomers have maanged to create a massive buzz in the town with their sizzling chemistry making Saiyaara as one of the most anticipated releases of the year
To note, Saiyaara marks Mohit Suri's first collaboration with YRF and the movie has managed to create a substantial buzz in the town. From launching fresh faces on the big screen to bringing soulful music that is striking a chord with millions of hearts, Saiyaara has got the nation buzzing. And as the movie witnessed a worldwide release on July 18, the audience as in absolute awe of the movie. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Saiyaara has witnessed a decent start at the worldwide box office. The musical romantic drama made a collection of Rs 3 crores in the overseas market on day 1 (first Friday) and the total worldwide collection of the movie stands at Rs 27.75 crores on the opening day
Saiyaara Records 5th Highest Overseas Collection Of 2025
To note, Saiyaara has recorded the fifth highest overseas collection of 2025. While Housefull 5 minted the highest overseas collection with Rs 11 crores on day 1, the second position is held by Sikandar and Chhaava with Rs 10 crores and the third position is taken by Kesari Chapter 2 with a collection of Rs 4.75 crores. On the other hand, Shahid Kapoor's Deva holds the 4th position with an overseas collection of Rs 3.5 crores
Meanwhile, Mohit Suri spoke about Saiyaara's comparisons with Aashiqui and told Firstpost, "When I made Zeher, they said it looked like Murder. When I made Ek Villain, they said it looked like Murder 2. When I made Malang, they said it looked like Ek Villain. When I made Aashiqui 2, they said it looked like Woh Lame and Rockstar. So I think when I go ahead and make my next film, they'll say it looks like Saiyaara. I think when they're comparing it to my own work rather than somebody else's, it's good".
