As Sanam Teri Kasam re-release has managed to create waves in the town, it saw a phenomenal response from the audience. In fact, the movie made a collection of Rs 4 crores on opening day post re-release despite facing competition from Loveyapa, Badass Ravi Kumar, Bareilly Ki Barfi and Padmaavat.

Given the ongoing trend, Sanam Teri Kasam is likely to see a hike today (day 2/ first Saturday) and is expected to mint Rs 4-5 crores. As Sanam Teri Kasam is set to cross Rs 8-9 crores mark and will be crossing its lifetime collection (2016) of Rs 8 crore.

Meanwhile, Harshvardhan is hopeful about Sanam Teri Kasam's success at the box office post re-release. He told SCREEN, "I hope it does what it didn't do earlier, that's it. Kya feel karoon main? Everyone was asking me everywhere to bring this film back. The only anecdote I remember is that we all were expecting this film to do much better than what it did. That void has pushed me today to request everyone to release this. Nau saal hogaye hain (It has been nine years), every year they keep losing faith, but my faith keeps increasing. When it didn't perform well, we all (the producers, director, actors) felt that pain, a tug in the heart".
