Sanam Teri Kasam Box Office Collection Day 2 (Re-Release): Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane made her Bollywood debut in 2016 with Sanam Teri Kasam, alongside Harshvardhan Rane. The romantic drama, penned and helmed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, received mixed reviews but gained attention for its music. This film also marked Harshvardhan's entry into Bollywood and featured actors like Anurag Sinha, Manish Chaudhari, Murli Sharma, and Sudesh Berry in significant roles.

The plot of Sanam Teri Kasam revolves around Inder, a former convict with a tough exterior, and Saru, who is portrayed as a traditional librarian. Their paths cross unexpectedly, leading them to fall deeply in love. Their relationship evolves into marriage, signifying a fresh beginning for both. However, their joy is short-lived as they face a tragic event that changes their lives forever.

After recording an opening day collection of Rs 4 crores post its re-release, Sanam Teri Kasam saw a good hike in numbers on day 2. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Sanam Teri Kasam minted Rs 5 crores on day 2 (first Saturday) which took the overall collections of the film to Rs 9 crores

Sanam Teri Kasam Surpasses Its Lifetime Collection Post Re-Release

Interestingly, with a collection of Rs 5 crores and an overall collections of Rs 9 crores, Sanam Teri Kasam has managed to surpass its initial lifetime collection in 2016. To note, this Harshvardhan and Mawra directorial minted Rs 8 crores during its lifetime run at the theatres in 2016.

Meanwhile, Harshvardhan is hopeful about Sanam Teri Kasam's success at the box office post re-release. He told SCREEN, "I hope it does what it didn't do earlier, that's it. Kya feel karoon main? Everyone was asking me everywhere to bring this film back. The only anecdote I remember is that we all were expecting this film to do much better than what it did. That void has pushed me today to request everyone to release this. Nau saal hogaye hain (It has been nine years), every year they keep losing faith, but my faith keeps increasing. When it didn't perform well, we all (the producers, director, actors) felt that pain, a tug in the heart".
