In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat, film business expert Rohit Jaiswal stated that Sanam Teri Kasam, which has so far minted Rs 23.60 crores, is expected to cross Rs 30 crores mark in week 1 at the box office office

Sanam Teri Kasam To Beat Tumbbad & Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani To Create A Record

Sanam Teri Kasam has managed to give a tough fight not just to the new releases but also to the previous re-releases like Tumbbad and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani which were massive hits post re-release. In fact, if the reports turned out to be true, Sanam Teri Kasam will beat the week 1 collection of Tumbbad (Rs 12.60 crores) and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (Rs 13.05 crores) and will record the highest week 1 collection for a re-release.

Meanwhile, Harshvardhan is hopeful about Sanam Teri Kasam's success at the box office post re-release. He told SCREEN, "I hope it does what it didn't do earlier, that's it. Kya feel karoon main? Everyone was asking me everywhere to bring this film back. The only anecdote I remember is that we all were expecting this film to do much better than what it did. That void has pushed me today to request everyone to release this. Nau saal hogaye hain (It has been nine years), every year they keep losing faith, but my faith keeps increasing.
