After it emerged to be the highest opener of Bollywood in its re-release list, the movie has recovered its budget on day 1 itself. The movie, which was initally released 9 years ago, was declared a flop after not minting enough to recover the budget. According to the box office reports of Sacnilk, Sanam Teri Kasam has minted Rs. 4.25-4.50 Cr on day 1 of its re-release which is a little less than the total India gross box office collection in its initial run. The movie, which has earned Rs. 12.29 Cr gross in domestic box office and Rs. 2.81 Cr in overseas box office, was made on a budget of Rs. 18 Cr and declared a flop in 2016. Now, the movie has recovered the budget swiftly after the total collection now stands at Rs. 19.6 Cr.

On day 2, the India nett collection is expected to rise more than the opening day and it will mint more than Rs. 4.5 Cr considering that it is the first Saturday after the re-release. So, yes, the movie will mint more than the opening day.
