After almost 9 years of its original release, Sanam Teri Kasam is back in theatres once again. Amid high anticipation, the 2016 romantic musical-drama hit cinemas today (7th February 2025), clashing with other re-releases 'Padmaavat', 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' and 'Interstellar'. Without a doubt, its the Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane starrer that's leading the race.

As of now, Sohum Shah's fantasy horror film 'Tumbbad' holds the record of the highest-grossing re-released film in Bollywood. As per Sacnilk, he movie recorded an opening of Rs 1.50 cr after its re-release. Given the current trend, Sanam Teri Kasam is likely to surpass the collection and break Tumbbad's opening day record after re-release.

Mounted on a reported budget of Rs 25 cr approximately, Sanam Teri Kasam had reportedly grossed around Rs 9.11 cr during its original theatrical run in February 2016.
