Sanam Teri Kasam Vs Tumbbad Re-Release Box Office Collection Day 5: Inder and Saru's heart-wrenching love story continues to spread its magic on big screen post re-release. Originally released in February 2016, the Harshvardhan Rane-Mawra Hocane starrer was a box office failure. Over the years, the movie became a fan favourite, thanks to YouTube and OTT streaming platforms. Joining in the force of re-releases, Sanam Teri Kasam made its way back on big screens on 7th February 2025, smashing other contemporary re-releases and new movie releases.

Sanam Teri Kasam Box Office Collection Day 5 (Re-Release)

Directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, Harshavrdhan Rane's Sanam Teri Kasam marked Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane's debut in Bollywood. Amid strong anticipation, the musical romantic-drama opened to a whopping Rs 4 cr on day 1. As per Pinkvilla report, the film went on to dominate the ticket counters over the weekend and added Rs 5.25 cr on Sat and Rs 5.75 cr on Sun.

Reportedly, the film witnessed a slight drop in numbers on Monday but remained unaffected. According to the same Pinkvilla report, Sanam Teri Kasam recorded further drop in numbers yesterday (Tuesday, Feb 11) and netted around Rs 2.85 cr. As of the now, the total 5-day nett collection (re-release) stands at Rs 21 cr.

Before Sanam Teri Kasam, it was Sohum Shah's Tumbbad who held the record of being the highest-opening Hindi film post re-release. But the Harshvardhan starrer has dethroned Sohum Shah's supernatural horror-fantasy. As per Sacnilk, Tumbbad had minted around Rs 1.50 cr on its first Tuesday (day 5) post re-release, grossing Rs 10.53 cr approx. in 5 days. That means, Harshvardhan's Sanam Teri Kasam has minted almost more than 50% of Tumbbad's day 5 numbers. The overall 5-day total numbers of STK are almost the double of Tumbbad post re-release.
