Sikandar stars Salman Khan in the lead role, supported by a talented cast including Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, Kishore, Jatin Sarna, and Sanjay Kapoor in key roles. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film is a collaboration between Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Salman Khan Films. Reports suggest that Sikandar has been made on a budget of approximately Rs. 250 Crore.
After a decade since their successful partnership on Kick, Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala reunited for this project. In February 2024, they announced the film, which was set to release nearly a year later. The official announcement came from Salman Khan on social media in April 2024. Shot across several stunning locations, including Portugal and other European countries, the film's production faced a few hurdles. One significant delay occurred due to Murugadoss's prior commitments to Madharasi.
Rashmika Mandanna joined the cast in May 2024, marking her first collaboration with Salman Khan. Principal photography began in June 2024, but the shoot was once again delayed when members of Lawrence Bishnoi's gang shot outside Salman Khan's house. Thankfully, the actor was unharmed in the incident.
