Sikandar Advance Booking Collection Day 1: Salman Khan starrer Sikandar is one of the biggest releases of the year and there are no second thoughts about it. The movie marks Salman's full fledged release after 1.5 years and happens to be a romantic action thriller. Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar marks the filmmaker's first collaboration with the Tiger 3 star and the trailer has already got everyone excited. After all, Sikandar is Salman's perfect Eid gift to fans this year.

Apart from Salman in the titular role, Sikandar also features an interesting ensemble of cast including Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar. Interestingly, Sikandar also marks Salman's first collaboration with Rashmika Mandanna as well and fans have been quite excited to see their fresh chemistry on the big screen for the first time. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Sikandar has managed to rake in Rs 1.93 crores in 24 hours of advance of booking with a sale of over 67 thousand tickets. And while there are 4 days left for the release of Sikandar, it will be interesting to see if Sikandar can set up new bars in terms of advance booking. In fact, it will be interesting to see if Sikanfar will be able to beat the advance booking collection of Tiger 3 (Rs 22.97 crores)

Sikandar Beats Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Singham Again

Interestingly, after a collection of Rs 1.93 crores, Sikandar has managed to mint more than thrice of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 advance booking numbers in 24 hours which happened to be Rs 48 lakhs. On the other hand, Sikandar has also surpassed the advance booking collection of Singham Again (Rs 83.26 lakhs) in 24 hours.

Meanwhile, Rashmika, who is currently basking in the success of her recent release Chhaava with Vicky Kaushal, got candid about working with Salman and told India Today, "He's such a special person and so down-to-earth and grounded. I was not well on set when we were shooting. The moment he found out about it, he asked me if I was okay and told the crew to get me healthy food, warm water, and everything."
