Sikandar Evening Occupancy Day 5 Report: Salman Khan's Film Sees 40% Drop In Footfall; Hits Lowest On Thursday

Sikandar Evening Occupancy Day 5 Report: Sikandar has been one of the most talked about movies in 2025. It has garnered more hype than Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava that fans anticipated to be another blockbuster of 2025. However, seeing the downward trend in box office collection, it can be anticipated that the movie might be added to another Salman Khan's disastrous movie list post Tiger 3 and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan release. On day 5, the movie's footfall hit the lowest already which is making it difficult for the A.R. Murugadoss directorial to survive in the long run.
The action-thriller was special for the fans as it marked Salman Khan's collaboration with Rashmika Mandanna, who has delivered hits Pushpa 2, Chhaava, Animal, among others. However, even Rashmika's charm seemed to have not worked for the film. The movie also stars talented actors like Sharman Joshi, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Suneil Shetty, among others. But the collaborative work couldn't save the drowning ship.
Sikandar Evening Occupancy Day 5 Report
On day 5, the movie has seen only 9.35% footfall in the evening, which is the lowest for the movie so far. The film has witnessed 40% dip in footfall compared to day 4 when the footfall in the evening was 15.35%. Even in morning and afternoon, the movie witnessed a sharp dip in occupancy. On day 5, the footfall in the morning was 4.74%, but it was 5.29% in day 4. In terms of afternoon occupancy, the footfall was 8.17% on day 5, while the footfall on day 4 was 11.67%.
The overall occupancy of the film stands at 7.42% as per the early updates of Sacnilk as of 9pm on day 5, while the overall occupancy on day 4 was 12.08%. However, the former is not the final update, but the striking difference in footfall can be seen clearly in the overall occupancy.
No wonder the sharp dip in footfall has affected the overall collection of the film on day 5. However, it is expected to cross Rs. 150 Cr in terms of worldwide collection on 1st Thursday.
More About Salman Khan
In a recent interview with India Today, Salman Khan opened up about how he is in sets, silencing the rumours about him, he said, "There are many stories about me coming late and not being serious about my work. I have done more than 100 films, more than anyone else apart from my senior actors. It wouldn't be possible to achieve this if I were constantly late or leaving early," he said.
The Sikandar actor added, "There is a discipline 100 per cent, but my timings are as such. Some people start working at 6 am, I start around 11:30- 12 because I've got a lot of other work to do, like signing a lot of papers, making calls, and working out. Then I have to come back, relax, have my coffee, and understand the scene. She (Rashmika) knows that once I am there on the set, I don't even go back to the van or even sit. They set up a tent wherever needed, and I stay there."
In another interview with Bollywood Bubble, the actor responded to the question of Bollywood being silent over Sikandar's release while he always lends support to the stars of his fraternity on their movie releases, to which, the actor added, "Unko aisa lagta hoga ki zaroorat nahin padti mujhe. (Maybe they think that I don't need their support)." However, he then added, "But, sabko zaroorat padti hai. (Everybody needs support)."
