Sikandar Night Occupancy Day 1: Eid celebrations are heightened this year, especially for Salman Khan's vast fan base, as they anticipate his latest film, Sikandar. This romantic action thriller, directed by A R Murugadoss, showcases Salman in the lead role. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Sikandar, which recorded an evening occupancy of 25.08%, witnessed a dip in footfalls during the night show amid the Chand Raat and Eid celebrations. Reportedly, Sikandar registered a night occupancy of 23.55% during night shows on day 1 (first Sunday).

Sikandar Fails To Beat Chhaava & Sky Force

With an occupancy of 23.55%, Sikandar has failed to beat Chhaava (68.23%) and Sky Force (36.58%) with a huge gap in terms of occupancy of night shows on opening day.

Meanwhile, in an interview with India Today, Rashmika Mandanna recalled how she was roped in for Sikandar and stated, "Being able to reach the place where you get to work with SK (Salman Khan). It just feels like you've done something right. So, when I got this call, I knew that, OK, I want to do commercial films, but I wanted depth in commercial films and I needed emotions in commercial films. And that's when it sort of attracts me to do the film. So Sajid (Nadiadwala, producer) sir first made the call, and he said, 'OK, we have something really exciting for you.' I was just like, 'OK, sir, let me take up the narration', and I was in Vizag at the moment shooting for something else. So, the first AD came, he narrated the story, and I fell in love with it, and I went to the next portion of it and asked, OK, what is the star cast looking like? And when they mentioned SK, I was like, how in the world did I get here?".
