Sitaare Zameen Par is an upcoming Hindi film directed by R. S. Prasanna and produced by Aamir Khan along with Aparna Purohit. A remake of the Spanish hit Champions (2018), the film features Aamir Khan in the lead as a basketball coach who, after a setback in his career, is assigned community service-training a team of players with intellectual disabilities. Genelia Deshmukh stars opposite him, adding charm and depth to the story. The film also introduces several new faces, including Aroush Datta, Samvit Desai, and Gopi Krishna Varma, among others. Casting director Tess Joseph conducted a nationwide search to bring on board over 150 neurodivergent actors, aiming for both representation and authenticity.
