Sitaare Zameen Par Box Office Collection Day 17: Aamir Khan has made a remarkable return to cinema with his latest film, Sitaare Zameen Par. This comes after his previous role in the 2022 movie Laal Singh Chaddha. The new release, which is directed by RS Prasanna, is a sports comedy-drama that has captured the audience's attention and is doing well at the box office. Apart from Aamir, Sitaare Zameen Par also features Genelia Deshmukh and marks her first collaboration with Mr Perfectionist.

To note, Sitaare Zameen Par hit theatres on June 20 and has been met with enthusiasm from viewers. The film is an official Hindi adaptation of the Spanish movie Champions. Its success can be attributed to its engaging plot and strong performances by the cast. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Sitaare Zameen Par saw a hike of 31% in numbers and minted Rs 6.25 crores on day 17 (third Sunday). This took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 148.8 crores

Sitaare Zameen Par Records Second Highest Third Weekend Of 2025

To note, with a collection fo Rs 6.25 crores, Sitaare Zameen Par has recorded as the second highest day 17 and second highest third Sunday collection of 2025. This isn't all. While Sitaare Zameen Par made a total collection of Rs 11 crores during the third weekend, it has managed to beat Raid 2 and recorded the second highest third weekend of 2025 after Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava

Actually, the easiest way I can describe it is that Taare Zameen Par is a very emotional film which makes you cry. Sitaare Zameen Par makes you laugh, it's a humorous film.
